What we saw at the Tampa Bay Comic Convention

The three-day Tampa Bay Comic Convention took place this weekend at the Tampa Convention Center. And no, don’t call it “Comic Con.” San Diego sued them over the name.

The event has returned to pre-pandemic attendance, with 50,000 people expected at the convention center over the weekend to take photos with celebrities, get autographs from authors, grab merchandise, attend nerdy panels, and win prize money for their cosplay.

The convention, which began in 2010, is a welcoming community of like-minded pop culture lovers and features a vintage market, exciting panel discussions and some top-notch cosplay.
