Watch Stacey Abrams Forget Rudy Giuliani Was on Law & Order

At the conclusion of a wide-ranging interview on the podcast “Hasan Minhaj Doesn’t Know” on Friday, Stacey Abrams’ knowledge as a superfan was put to the test when the host quizzed her on trivia about “Law & Order,” “Star Trek” and “The West Wing.”

But the politician and voting rights activist was quickly at a loss when asked about a cameo appearance by none other than former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani in the 11th season of “Law & Order.”

“Stacey Abrams, you’re known for a lot of different things. Your career as a state legislator and as House Minority Leader. Your work on voting rights, which we’ll get to later. Your helping the Democrats win the Senate in 2020,” Minhaj said in introducing the game. “But what a lot of people don’t know is that you have incredible pop culture knowledge when it comes to ‘Law & Order,’ ‘The West Wing,’ and ‘Star Trek.’ Let’s play a little game called ‘Stacey Abrams, Human IMDb?'”

Question 1 was about the season 11 premiere of Law & Order, in which a “suspicious apartment fire leaves a severely disabled boy suffering from smoke inhalation.” However, when asked who the guest star in that episode was, Abrams admitted, “I can’t tell you who the guest star was, but I know what episode you’re talking about.”

“It’s Rudy Giuliani,” Minhaj said cheerfully.

“Yes, you said guest star! Your use of ‘star’ didn’t count,” Abrams replied.

“But how can you ignore Rudy Giuliani?” he asked.

“I practice this every day,” she joked.

Abrams stumbled again on Question 2 for “Stacey Abrams, Human IMDb” when she was asked to name “Law & Order” Season 19 guest star Timothée Chalamet. But Minhaj had an idea to regain some credibility.

“I’ll ask you right away: In which Chalamet movie is he the hottest?”

“I can’t answer that question,” Abrams said indignantly. “He’s four – I don’t pay attention. If you ask me anything about Idris Elba, we could immediately take this conversation to a higher level.”

(Minhaj, meanwhile, insisted the answer was “Dune.”)

Abrams then received a new boost when she was able to flawlessly summarize the plot of Season 3, Episode 15 of “The West Wing.”

Check out the video above to witness all the nonsense, and stay tuned to hear the political leader’s words of wisdom for the final months of the 2024 presidential election.
