The Oakland A’s players had a clever way to determine the order in the Fantasy Football Draft

The calendar is turning to fall, which means fantasy football is just around the corner. Die-hard football fans and casual fans alike enjoy participating in fantasy, and no matter where your league falls on that spectrum, there’s always an urge to be as creative as possible when determining the basic features of the game, like the order of the draft.

Before Tuesday’s game against the Tampa Bay Rays at the Coliseum, several members of the Oakland A’s were caught on camera setting the draft order for their league. They did so in a clever way.

From the top deck, the Athletics all threw balls, trying to land as close to the target as possible, like playing bocce ball. Even for professional ball players who have probably spent hundreds of thousands of hours throwing balls around, it seemed pretty difficult, and only two guys landed relatively close to the target. You’ll enjoy the top of the draft.

One of the most creative methods to come to the table in a long time. And if they’re doing this just because of the order of drafts, it makes you shudder to think what they might have in store for whoever finishes last.

According to his reaction, relief pitcher Scott Alexander was the winner. It was the only goal celebrated in the stands on Tuesday, as the A’s lost 1-0 to the visiting team.
