In one version, Wolverine is covered in dino guts, in the other, he is not. However, towards the end of the comic, there is a much bigger change. In the standard version, we see Wolverine reborn from a pile of his own mangled, electrocuted and burned corpse…

Somehow even the adamantium is reinserted. Don’t ask, it’s not that kind of comic. But in the Red Band version? There’s a lot more… knitting going on. And maybe that suggests there was more of a skeletal structure left around which to regenerate…
