Stephen Curry’s blistering finish – 12 points in the final 2:48 minutes, all three-pointers – helped Team USA hold off a spirited effort from Victor Wembanyama (26 points) and France on home court, 98-87, to secure its fifth consecutive Olympic gold medal and 17th overall. Curry finished with 24 points and eight three-pointers, giving him 60 and 17 points, respectively, in the final two games of the Olympics. Kevin Durant and Devin Booker each contributed 15 points, and LeBron James totaled 14 points, 10 assists and six rebounds for the United States.
