A boutique hotel opening in a historic building is ready to debut: Le Méridien Fort Worth Downtown will open Thursday, August 29, in the former Hotel Texas Annex building at 811 Commerce St.
First announced for late 2023, this 14-story boutique hotel is a partnership between Blueprint Hospitality and Remington Hospitality and brings Le Méridien’s distinctive European heritage to Fort Worth.
“After nearly two decades of vacancy, we are excited to breathe new life into the space with the opening of Le Méridien Fort Worth Downtown,” said Kunal Moody, CEO of Blueprint Hospitality, in a press release.
Founded in 1968, Remington Hospitality manages 135 hotels in 27 states and Washington, DC, under 33 brands, including 16 independent boutique hotels.
Le Méridien Fort Worth Downtown features 188 guest rooms and suites featuring mid-century modern design, floor-to-ceiling windows and scenic downtown views.
Art will play a big role, from lavish design elements to curated artwork to participation in Le Méridien’s trademark “Unlock Art” program, which offers complimentary access to Fort Worth art institutions such as the Amon Carter Museum and Caravan of Dreams Art Studio.
Dining options include the hotel’s all-day restaurant Bouvier Brasserie, a rooftop lounge called Annex serving cocktails and small snacks, and the Hub on the first floor, which offers ice cream and sorbet during the day and cocktails and sharing snacks in the evening.
Other amenities include a sixth-floor fitness center and rooftop pool, as well as nearly 5,000 square feet of event space, including a ballroom and breakout rooms for events, weddings and meetings.
Le Méridien Fort Worth will participate in Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s travel program, allowing members to earn and redeem points for their stays at the new hotel as well as other hotels and resorts across the Marriott Bonvoy brand portfolio.
