The law and order Thursdays will (mostly) return in the fall of 2024, with the original series and SVU Return to their usual time slots during Organized crime goes to Peacock. Unfortunately for fans waiting for the payout from law and orderCliffhanger in the finale of the 23rd season or the consequences of SVUIt will be another month before the shows start again. The good news? Wolf Entertainment, the production company behind the law and order Franchise, has a new true crime project in the works that will premiere soon.
The new project is a podcast called Law & Order: Criminal Justice SystemAlthough it is not the first podcast from Wolf Entertainment and the Dark forests Project even recruited Chicago Fire Featuring Monica Raymund as a graduate, this is the company’s first podcast on investigative journalism. Hosted by former Brooklyn murder prosecutor Anna-Sigga Nicolazzi, the unscripted podcast focuses on the American Mafia in New York City, and listeners will follow the story of the criminal organization’s downfall.
This is not a spoiler, because the story takes place in 1979 and the story of the downfall of the Mafia is no secret. This podcast tells the era in its own way and focuses on the team of young police officers and prosecutors who go against all odds and defeat the Mafia. The story begins in the first episode with the murder of crime boss Carmine Galante.
And you can try it out for yourself sooner rather than later, because the first season of Law & Order: Criminal Justice System will premiere on Thursday, August 22nd, on iHeartPodcasts. The true story of the American Mafia will not be the only case investigated in the project; the deal for Criminal justice system guaranteed four seasons with twelve episodes each.
This will definitely not be a case of law and order ripped from the headlines, but tells the whole true story in audio format. Given this L&O And SVU will not be back on NBC until Thursday, October 3rd, I would say the timing couldn’t be better for a law and order Franchise podcast premiere.
I also have to laugh that the official Criminal justice system The podcast starts not too long after the debut of Christopher Meloni’s “True Crime” podcast, because the two could hardly be more different. The Organized crime Star – who SVU Fan interactions at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris – narrates a podcast for the cat food company Temptations called Catch a Cat Burglar: Purry Duty.
If you don’t expect a podcast alone to be your law and order itching while the wait for the fall premieres continues, you can always find the original series, SVUAnd Organized crime Streaming with a Peacock Premium subscription. Christopher Meloni’s show moves from NBC to the NBCU streamer, means it won’t be returning anytime soon L&O And SVUbut a star recently confirmed that at least production has begun on Law and order: Organized crime Season 5.
