Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Technology, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close of trading in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 rose 0.74 percent.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Saipem SpA (BIT:SPMI), which rose 3.35% or 0.07 points to close at 2.07. Meanwhile, Ferrari NV (BIT:RACE) added 2.54% or 10.70 points to end at 431.40 and Recordati (BIT:RECI) rose 2.37% or 1.20 points to 51.85 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telecom Italia (BIT:TLIT), which changed 0.73% or 0.00 points to trade at 0.23 at the close. Hera (BIT:HRA) declined 0.59% or 0.02 points to end at 3.38. Snam SpA (BIT:SRG) was down 0.41% or 0.02 points to close at 4.37.
On the Milan Stock Exchange, advancing stocks outnumbered declining ones by 284 to 176, and 59 closed unchanged.
Ferrari NV (BIT:RACE) shares reached an all-time high, rising 2.54% or 10.70 to 431.40.
Crude oil for delivery in October fell 1.04% or 0.76 to $72.41 a barrel. In commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.79% or 0.61 to $76.59 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 4.85 to $2,545.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD remained unchanged 0.15% at 1.11, while EUR/GBP remained unchanged 0.18% at 0.85.
US dollar index futures fell 0.25% to 101.05.
