iPhone 16 colors: What to expect next month

The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro are coming out in just a few weeks, and we’re slowly getting a clearer picture of what to expect. Every year, people want to know more about iPhone colors – so here’s what we know so far about the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro color options.

Colors for iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus

The current iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are available in five different colors:

  • Blue
  • Yellow
  • Pink
  • Green
  • Black

For the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, Apple is expected to abandon the yellow option in favor of a new white color this year:

  • Blue
  • Pink
  • White
  • Black
  • Green

The big change for iPhone 16 users, however, is that the colors are expected to clearly more saturated this year. While the colors of the iPhone 15 were very bright and pastel, early dummy units of the iPhone 16 show that Apple has refilled the ink in its printer.

In the meantime, here is a hands-on video of all five iPhone 16 dummy units, again showing the new color options:

iPhone 16 Pro Colors

As a refresher, the iPhone 15 Pro range is available in four colours:

  • Natural titanium
  • Blue Titanium
  • White Titanium
  • Black Titanium

Apple will reportedly ditch the Blue Titanium color this year in favor of a new bronze shade that could be called Desert Titanium.

  • Natural titanium
  • Desert Titan
  • White Titanium
  • Black Titanium

Originally, the new fourth color option was described as more like gold or perhaps rose gold. However, recent rumors have made it clear that the actual color is more towards bronze (or even brown) rather than gold.

As the iPhone 16 Pro test devices show, this year’s Black Titanium variant will be significantly darker than the iPhone 15 Pro version.

Here are two images of dummy units of the iPhone 16 Pro in all four new color options, with thanks to Sunny Dickson:
