Travelers who have booked hotels on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon for Labor Day weekend are desperately trying to make alternative plans.
Hotels on the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park will remain temporarily closed “for the foreseeable future” due to a break in the park’s main water line, the park announced Wednesday afternoon, August 28.
The closure of South Rim hotels – just ahead of what tourism analysts expect to be a record-breaking Labor Day travel weekend – will force hundreds of guests to re-plan their itineraries.
