EXCLUSIVE: Dermot Mulroney (My best friend’s wedding), Malin Akerman (The heartbreaking child) and Brian Austin Green (Beverly Hills, 90210) have completed filming of a not so well-known romantic comedy in the Bahamas Perfectly imperfectwhich comes from ETA Films, Beno Films, JNW Films and Al Bravo Films.
Joseph Nathan Weisman makes his directorial debut from an original screenplay by Wendi Coates (Camp Cool Kids) and Michael Varrati (Christmas with you).
The romantic comedy follows Jake (Mulroney), an average single father who goes on a cruise with his quirky family and childhood friend Reuben (Green). On board, he unexpectedly crosses paths with Meg (Akerman), a woman he once had an awkward date with on the mainland. When they get a second chance to get closer, Jake and Meg discover that while neither of them is perfect, they may actually be perfectly imperfect for each other. Above and below are first images.
The film was produced by Eric Brenner, Eduard Osipov, RJ Collins, Al Bravo and Joseph Nathan Weisman. Mike Pizzimenti and Michelle Deppe Wang are co-producers.
Al Bravo Films recently launched YGM Studios, which will develop and produce films with budgets up to $5 million. The company will offer full production and post-production services and will be headquartered in Las Vegas.
Al Bravo has produced 20 films since 2022, including Black arrest warrant with Tom Berenger, Reckless with Dermot Mulroney and The Wrecker with Tyrese Gibson and Harvey Keitel.
