Seven years have passed since a new Foreigner The film recently hit the big screen and fans of the franchise can finally return to the spooky universe of the Xenomorphs.
Director: Fede Álvarez (evil Dead And Don’t breathe), Alien: Romulus is the ninth film in the 45-year-old franchise and is set Foreigner back to its horror roots. At the Gotham Awards in Los Angeles last year, lead actress Cailee Spaeny said Romulus takes place between Ridley Scott’s Foreigner (1979) and James Cameron’s 1986 sequel Aliens.
With the film hitting theaters today (August 16), now is the perfect time to Foreigner Movies before grabbing a bag of popcorn and Romulus. There are four films in the main series, as well as two prequels and two Alien vs Predator Films to delve deeper into the subject.

How to watch the “Alien” movies in chronological order
1. “AVP Alien vs. Predator” (2004)
The first of the Predator In the crossovers, Weyland funds an expedition to Antarctica in hopes of finding the source of a mysterious heat, and discovers it’s the aliens. To make matters worse, Predators show up on Earth to hunt the other aliens.
2. “Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem” (2007)
In the second Predator In the film, humans are once again caught in the crossfire when the Predators and aliens go to war in the middle of Gunnison, Colorado.
3. “Prometheus” (2012)
In the first of the two prequels to the original Foreigner franchise, a crew of space travelers embark on a mission to discover the origins of humanity and encounter an ancient civilization and a malevolent alien.
4. “Alien: Covenant” (2017)
A colony ship heads for a new and (as they think) uninhabited planet, but discovers that this paradisiacal world is inhabited by a deadly life form that has its sights set on them.
5. “Aliens” (1979)
The film that started it all. When the crew of the Nostromo receives a transmission from a nearby moon and discovers a colony of alien eggs attaching themselves to a crew member, Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) and her team fight for their lives aboard their space tug.
6. “Alien: Romulus” (2024)
Set 20 years after the first Foreigner Film, Romulus is a standalone film in which a group of space colonists confront a terrifying life form while raiding an abandoned space station.

7. “Aliens” (1986)
James Cameron takes the reins in AliensRipley wakes up 57 years later and finds that the aliens she fought against have become stronger. Together with a new crew, she embarks on a mission to destroy the aliens once and for all.
8. “Alien 3” (1992)
The only survivor after the events of AliensRipley crashes with an alien organism on the wasteland of Fiorina 161 and must lead a planet full of prisoners into war, while simultaneously discovering that an alien queen is growing inside her.
9. “Alien: Resurrection” (1997)
200 years after the events of Aliens 3, Ripley was cloned by the military so they could extract the alien queen’s embryo, but her DNA merges with the queen’s, causing the aliens to flee.
